FAS - FAZ Stock Analysis April 2, 2009

Since the crash back below the 10 day moving average on Monday, FAS is right back hitting up against the $6.00 level which is now resistance. A close over $6.00 will be a step in the right direction for FAS stock but the real test will continue to be at the 50 day moving average. When I see FAS break the 50 day moving average, I will get back into the stock. So far, FAS has failed to break the 50 day moving average since becoming an ETF. As for FAZ, I will be jumping into FAZ if FAS breaks back below $5.00 again. These two stocks are the only stocks I trade now. They have all the volatility you need!

The following is a little Citigroup ( C ) stock technical analysis for April 2, 2009.Citigroup Support & Resistance Levels - 4/2/09
Resistance Levels: $2.73, $3.00, $3.35, $3.89
Support Levels: $2.40, $2.20
Citigroup has closed under both the 10 & 50 day moving averages for the 4th straight day. A close back above these two levels $2.70, $2.73 would be very bullish from a technical point of view. I am waiting for Citi stock to break back above $3 before for I buy however.
On the downside, Citigroup has solid support around $2.40. I've noticed buyers lining up in droves at this level. Keep an eye on volume, the next major move will be tipped off by heavy volume. For More Technical Analysis - Go Here

After making the high at $110, Apple ( AAPL ) stock is bouncing off the 10 day moving average and holding. This is a very bullish sign. Apple is getting ready to make a big move soon. Watch for a break above $110 for more upside, watch a close below the 10 day moving average for a retest of $95-$100. I continue to believe the new range for Apple should be between $95-$115.....the $80's are history unless we have another leg down in the stock market.

Visa continues to trend along with the 10 day moving average, most importantly, above the 50 day moving average. When Visa starts to break out to the upside again, it will be a big move into the $60's. This could actually happen right before or after their next earnings report. I am waiting for a close over $58 as a sign Visa stock is ready to rock. Also, watch for a close above the 200 day moving average, this will be the first time ever! The following is Technical Analysis for the Dow Jones ( DJIA ) for 4/02/09Dow Jones Support & Resistance Levels - April 2, 2009
Resistance Levels: 7931, 8000, 8250
Support Levels: 7600, 7500, 7200

The Dow Jones held support of 7500 and 7600 on a closing basis today. A very bullish sign. I think we will continue to stay in this range between 7500-8000 until we start to get earnings reports next week. A close above 8000 would take us back to test 8500-9000, a close below 7500 will take us back to retest 7000-7200. The Dow Jones is back above both the 10 and 50 day moving averages so I trade from the long side during the trading day until this changes.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 7762 on 4/1/09, as the stock market went up today for two reasons. First, pending home sales were up 2.1% which was better then the flat number expected. This data along with a possible FASB Mark To Market rule change due out tomorrow, overshadowed a horrible ADP employment number.
The Dow Jones Futures were down big this morning after the above ADP data was released. At 10am the home sale figures were released and the stock market went from down 80 to up 160. Financials rallied as tomorrow the final vote will come on Mark to Market accounting rule. Friday, we get the infamous jobs report and unemployment rate which should be pretty bad.
